MRI

Lake Pointe Medical Center is currently equipped with one MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) Unit.

MRI uses magnetic energy and radio waves to image cross sections of the body. The benefit of MRI is that unlike CT imaging it does not use radiation to obtain images. MRI can be used to diagnose multiple abnormalities such as tumors, arterial venous malformation, injured tendons and ligaments, brain lesions, disc herniations, and arterial stenosis.

All routine MRI procedures:

  • MRA (MR angiography)

Routine hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday thru Friday, and 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday.
