Whether it’s a scheduled procedure or one needed in case of a cardiovascular emergency, our Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab) is equipped with the technology and staff to provide lifesaving treatments.

The lab’s cardiovascular suite features some of the most modern tools, such as intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), hemodynamic documentation system, angiojet and thrombectomy devices.

A skilled team of interventional cardiologists and vascular surgeons on the medical staff, nurses, registered cardiovascular invasive specialists, radiology technicians and cardiovascular technicians work together to perform a range of advanced procedures, including:

  • Coronary angiograms
  • Right/Left heart catheterizations
  • Pacemakers (permanent and temporary)
  • Internal cardiac defibrillators (ICD)
  • Direct current cardio versions (DCCV)
