SERVICE WITH A SMILE
Volunteers are a vital part of the Lake Pointe Health Network team. Our volunteers are resourceful, dedicated and have a heartfelt desire to serve patients, visitors and healthcare colleagues. They are an extension of the hospital to the community and assist staff in creating the best possible patient and visitor experience. There are three key areas of volunteer opportunities available within the Lake Pointe Health Network -
ADMINISTRATIVE
Volunteers who work in administrative areas assist in keeping their assigned departments organized. Duties may include filing, answering phones, and assembling informational packets.
PATIENT CARE
Volunteers help the clinical staff in various non-clinical ways to ensure patients receive the best possible care during their stay. Duties may include reading to patients, refreshing ice and water, and assisting with meals.
HOSPITAL LIAISON
Volunteers who are assigned to hospital liaison duties assist in waiting rooms and information desks to ensure patients’ and visitor’s questions and needs are being met.
