The Cardiopulmonary Department at Lake Pointe Medical Center encompasses activities in diagnostic evaluation, therapy, and education of the patient, family and public. The department is responsible for providing safe and effective care upon a Physician Prescription/Order. Services are provided to both inpatients and outpatients.

- Electrocardiogram (EKG)
- Magnet Procedure for EKG’s
- Exercise Treadmill Test (ETT)
- Holter Monitoring
Neuro-diagnostics
- Electroencephalogram (EEG)
- Electromyogram (EMG)
- Nerve Conduction Velocity Studies (NCV)
Pulmonary diagnostics
- Blood Gas Determinations
- Pulmonary Function Test (PFT)
With or without Pre and Post Bronchodilator
With or without Blood Gas Determination
- Pulse Oximetry
- End Tidal CO2 Monitoring
Respiratory Care Therapy for Acute Respiratory Failure or Acute Respiratory Distress secondary to any disease process:
- Aersol Administration
- Artificial Airway Management
- BiPAP/CPAP
- Mechanical Ventilation
- Bronchial Hygiene
- Continuous Bronchodilator Therapy
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
- Oxygen Administration
- Medical Gas Administration
Daily Therapeutic maintenance for acute and chronic complication:
- Aerosol Administration
- Bronchial Hygiene
