Has a wound kept your life at a standstill? The Lake Pointe Wound Care Center offers a comprehensive wound management approach to healing, taking advantage of an interdisciplinary team approach. Each patient will receive a thorough diagnostic appraisal and will be followed by a carefully designed and managed care program. Our Wound Care Center Clinical Pathway includes a complete evaluation and non-invasive vascular studies followed, as needed, by debridement, infection control, revascularization, growth factor therapy, skin grafting, compression therapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, patient education and preventive measures to preclude recurrence of wounds.
Our physician panel includes general surgeons, a vascular surgeon, an orthopedic surgeon, a podiatrist, and a physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist, complemented by a staff of nurses with many years of experience in the treatment of difficult wounds.
