- Visitor parking is located in front and on the south side of the hospital free of charge. It is the policy of Lake Pointe Medical Center that all hospital entrances, with the exception of the Emergency Department, be locked between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Access to the hospital during these hours is through the Emergency entrance. Lake Pointe Medical Center is served by the Rowlett Police Department.
- The Dining Room serves lunch from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. daily. Vending machines are available. Guest trays are available for all meals.
- Requests for guest trays in a patient room by a family member will be acknowledged by Nutritional Services. A guest tray for a parent of a pediatric patient under 12 years of age will be furnished free of charge. All other guest trays are $3.00 for breakfast and $5.00 for lunch and dinner.
- Televisions with satellite service are provided in each room.
- Patient family members who choose to stay close to their loved one may rent a room in the hospital, depending upon availability. To inquire about renting a room, please contact the Admitting/Discharge office at 972-412-2273 ext. 1110 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., or the Emergency Department Registration if it is after hours.
