Lake Pointe Medical Center is a full-service 99-bed hospital dedicated to healthcare excellence for the residents in our region. We've been serving the healthcare needs of the residents of Rowlett, Rockwall and the surrounding communities since 1987. Lake Pointe Medical Center was named to the 2003 list of the 100 Top Hospitals for small community hospitals in the nation according to Solucient, one of the major sources of healthcare business intelligence. The 100 Top Hospitals award is based on three measures of hospital performance: clinical excellence, operating efficiency and financial health,
and responsiveness to the community. Lake Pointe was also recognized as a 100 Top Hospital in the nation by Solucient in 1996 and 2001. Lake Pointe Medical Center is small enough to offer high touch, personalized care, yet large enough to provide high technology services.
Lake Pointe has a medical staff of over 300 physicians, and provides a broad spectrum
of services, including intensive care services, cardiology, obstetrics, surgical services, day surgery, outpatient diagnostic services and emergency services. We’re continuing to
expand the scope of services and facilities to meet the rapidly growing health care needs
