ROWLETT, Texas – April 13, 2007 – Tenet Healthcare Corporation (NYSE: THC) announced today that Lake Pointe Medical Center has been selected for the third consecutive year to the company’s 2007 Circle of Excellence.
The Circle of Excellence honors those Tenet hospitals that have performed at the highest levels in the past year in the areas of quality, service and operation performance. Key factors involved in the process include patient, physician and employee satisfaction scores, clinical quality scores and financial performance.

Jackson, chief operating officer Eric Evans, chief financial officer Michael Bierman Jr. and chief nursing officer Deborah Moeller helped lead the hospital to high balanced scorecard metrics within the company, including a ranking of third for quality, and second for overall score, out of Tenet’s 62 hospitals nationwide. Lake Pointe’s employees also continued to score the facility highly, helping it become the only hospital in Tenet to achieve a five-star Employee Satisfaction Survey rating two consecutive years.
