ROWLETT, TX – FEBRUARY 11, 2008 – Lake Pointe Health Network is pleased to announce the opening of its first urgent care facility, Lake Pointe Urgent Care Center. Lake Pointe Urgent Care Center will provide convenient care that is close to home to meet the local community’s growing health care needs. The center is well equipped with laboratory and diagnostic imaging services on site to provide quality health care that is both quick and convenient.
“The Urgent Care Center will provide our surrounding communities with convenient access to urgent care outside of the hospital Emergency Department,” said Dr. David French, Medical Director of the Emergency Department at Lake Pointe Medical Center. “The Center will have seven treatment rooms, be staffed with board-certified physicians, and offer a broad range of treatment options with no appointment required.”
Lake Pointe Urgent Care Center is conveniently located in Rockwall at 1005 West Ralph Hall Parkway, Suite 115 and open daily from Noon to 10:00PM. Our staff and physicians will treat your family with professional care and the same compassion that you do at home. A complete record of treatment at Lake Pointe Urgent Care Center may be sent to the patients’ primary care physician for continuity of care following the visit. Lake Pointe Urgent Care Center accepts most insurance plans, as well as Medicare and Medicaid, to improve access to quality health care in the community. “We are excited to open the Urgent Care Center in Rockwall,” said Carolyn Jackson, chief executive officer of Lake Pointe Health Network. “This new service will complement the fast growing Lake Pointe Health Network and provide added convenience for residents to access quality urgent care that is close to home."
