Lake Pointe Medical Center, a 97-bed medical/surgical facility, was built in 1987 to serve the health care needs of Rockwall and Rowlett residents. Since then, Lake Pointe has grown to over 250 physicians on its medical staff, reaching residents of East Texas and surrounding Dallas communities.
